Mosaics By Elizabeth
About Me
Ten years ago my husband built our home on beautiful Wildfowl Bay in Bay Port, MI, which is located on one of the Great Lakes – Lake Huron.  One of the wonderful features of our house is that every door was built with an opening directly above so that we could install stained glass panels.  I saw those stained glass panels as a way to make my own contribution but I knew nothing about creating stained glass pieces.  So, I took a class.  HOOKED! I was totally hooked!

Of course, after making all the doorway panels and ultimately other show pieces, I quickly built a very large stockpile of glass scraps.  Thousands of small glass pieces soon became my inspiration to create other items for decorative as well as useful purposes.  Thus, began my venture into art of mosaic.  From mirrors of many sizes to tin watering cans with a few pieces of furniture and bowling balls thrown in, I began laying beautiful glass pieces onto everything my fingers touched.

My passion for glass has grown into another level of art as well.  I am now fusing glass pieces together to make cabochons and other beads.  These fun and beautiful cabochons can be incorporated into my mosaic pieces or they can be turned into wonderful pieces of jewelry.

I hope you will enjoy looking at my glass work and I encourage you to email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you have any questions.
